Welcome to the official website of the Ministry of Finance of the Northeast State of Somalia.
Our Ministry is committed to managing the public finances of our state with integrity, transparency and accountability. Through this website we publish the State budget, our laws and regulations, tax tariffs and information about the services we provide, so that every citizen can see how public resources are raised and used.
We will continue to strengthen revenue mobilisation, improve budget execution and modernise our financial systems, in partnership with our communities, the private sector and our development partners.

Mandate and responsibilities
The Minister of Finance sets and implements the government's economic policy. The Minister leads the Ministry in formulating and executing policies for fiscal stability, economic growth and effective management of public resources, oversees preparation of the budget and its presentation to Parliament, and represents the government in financial and economic discussions nationally and internationally.
